The AMA has two riding programs available for people who take their mules into the equine world, outside of mule shows. We offer the Saddle Sore Award to those that ride the country. You keep track of your hours ridden and turn in a log sheet. The other is the Long Ears Versatility Award that enables you to gain points competing in open shows, against all equines.

Both of these programs are to reward you for being seen riding your great mules or donkeys out in public view. Awards are given each year to reward all your hard work. The AMA loves to see you and your long eared companions taking the world by storm and showing everyone that mules and donkeys really do it all!
