Hells Canyon Mule Days

Kick It Up A Notch and Scoot Your Boots To The 43rd Annual Hells Canyon Mule Days at the Wallowa County Event Center and Fairgrounds in Enterprise, Oregon. Hells Canyon Mule Days will be celebrating Mules and Mule Skinners on September 06-07-08. Always the weekend after Labor Day. This annual event draws mule owners and spectators intrigued by the long-eared equine from all over the West. This year’s Mule Show will be three full days of events that include classes for every age group and skill level. It is a fun family weekend and youngsters enjoy competing and showing their mulemanship abilities as much as the older well-honed contestants. Weekend events include: Artisans & Western Gear Exhibitors, Cowboy Poetry Gathering, Non-Motorized Parade, B-B-Q Dinner, Saturday Night Concert featuring Wylie and The Wild West Band at the historic OK Theatre in downtown Enterprise, and a great Dutch Oven Cook-Off on Sunday morning. There is dry camping on the fairgrounds for trailers, tents, and RV’s, so make your reservations and be close to the goings-on.
